We believe jewellery should be personal, caring, intimate and one of a kind, rather than simply expensive or fashionable, and maybe we push this concept a bit too far. But who decides where’s the limit? The jewels we create are for individuals and as such they are completely unique, they tell stories, complicated or simple, tender and deep, but always singular.
How to get started
Step 1: - Getting to know you - you reserve a one hour zoom call by clicking the button below (new dates will be added every 3 months ). If you feel uncomfortable with face to face talking, just write us an email.
Step 2: - Brainstorming - I understand your project, you send me ideas, pictures, colours, poems, movies, textures, photographs, anything that inspires and has meaning for you. I will digest everything and send you sketches. At this point a defined budget and a timeline need to be established.
Step 3: -Beginning- we create a private custom page and you can access it through a password, see the pictures of my sketches, comment on them and make sure they are exactly what you desire. To approve the design and start production you need to pay the first half of the project. Then we order all the materials and get started.
Step 4: -Live the journey- each week, you follow, on your private page, step by step every moment of the creation, as if you were in the workshop with me, through videos and pictures. You can comment under each one and make sure everything is exactly perfect for you.
Step 5: -It’s finally done- your jewel is perfect and finished, every detail exactly as you wished, you pay the second half and eventual shipping costs and the jewel is delivered to you. Once received, hopefully you give us some feedback, letting us know if you love it as much as we hope. Remember that you have a lifetime warranty with us. Your jewel can always be shipped back for a makeover according to our “circle of life service” or to repair it.
Every jewel will be accompanied by a booklet containing its story so that you can share it, gift it or possessively own it and remember how special you are.
We say far, but how far have we pushed it? Here are 2 simple examples:
1 – Something sweet: one of our most beloved jewel is the memory bracelet. This bracelet is made of links and each link is one of a kind. To forge each one we ask for a memory, a colour, or a travel and we use it as inspiration. One of our beloved clients, asked us to dedicate a link to their cat, they sent us a picture and a video (that melted my cat lady heart) and I created this link.
2- Something deep: some souls are bright and endless, they share and communicate their feelings, not through simple words but images. One of our incredible clients sent us a powerful poem as part of the inspiration for jewel, one line read “like the dew from the morning grass, what is ours flows into the air”. This piece had some of the most intricate and delicate meanings I could ever imagine, but, just to unveil one, as delicate elements touched, small diamonds, like morning dew appeared, ready to evaporate, to twist their souls into vapour.
