This picture is made to show the colours that we could work with. I believe 18K gold, silver and copper all share a similar light and look beautifully cohesive together. I have drawn inspiration from our “dead flower” earrings and have rounded and intertwined the branches that spring form an icelandic lava stone rather than form a metal base. The two “centres”, that could be both made of Icelandic lava or could be made of different materials, are the starting point for sinuous and soft branches that reach towards each other never really touching. The points of contact create something new and dazzling that doesn’t belong to either, but rather exists in the space between both. Towards these contact points, represented by your pearl, sapphire and other gemstones or rough diamonds, little drops of diamonds, like morning dew, evaporate.
These earrings could be two, opposite and similar, representing two different points of view and how these both shape the space, or there could be an imaginary line that divides the earring in two and they would come together as one only in the case. Obviously in this option, the gems in the points of contact would be equally divided between the two earrings.
